In January, Xiaomi launched the first Redmi Note7 sub-brand device. The budget smartphone was made in the best traditions of the company – high-quality, productive, stylish and inexpensive. Today, the company announced that 4 million copies had been sold on March 29 (perhaps this figure includes sales of the Redmi Note 7 Pro model, but Xiaomi did not mention this directly).
During a press conference on March 19 devoted to Xioami’s financial results last year, a slide with data on the sale of this device was published: more than 1 million copies were sold in the first month (and this is only in China, since at that time Note 7 was not was officially released to the global market), at the time of the press conference – more than 3 million, and by the end of March the company planned to sell more than 4 million devices – which, in principle, was fulfilled.
There is nothing surprising – Redmi smartphones have always been popular in the market of budget devices, as they had excellent value for money. Redmi Note 7 received an excellent Snapdragon 660 processor, 3, 4 or 6GB of RAM and a trendy design with a gradient back panel and a drop-like cut above the screen.
